Salaxi

      The salaxi are a race of humanoids that are capable of manipulating ephsun, allowing them to enchant items, cast spells, and perform other supernatural acts. They look very similar to humans, being distinguished by their glowing red irises. They can enchant amzalt crystals and amazaltine—alloys that contain amzalt, such as crimscayle.

      They are commonly hated and feared by most humans. Most of those of the Faith of Orm interprets them as the offspring of either Zoh or azbals. Those of the Faith of Diacedes also fear them as a malevolent group.

      Though they are generally shunned by society, their talents with ephsun have been indispensible to some kings and lords throughout history, hired in secret to aid them in their pursuits of power. They are also sought after to heal loved ones when healers have failed, limited by natural means.
